And then there were four... Introducing Baby Fleming Version 2.0

Hi all
Had a 13 Week scan today to see our new addition arriving late August 2009... so here's a sneak preview. All "bump" names welcome... so far our dteam have come up with Robusta (as in coffee beans)... so we're still on the look out for a cool name ;o)

This new baby clocked in a 72mm whereas Madeline was 74mm but still in the top 5% for height!!!! So i don't breed babies i breed GIANTS! (bring on the Caeserian!)

Everything else was good too, saw it's nose and fingers and toes and little arm bones, the heart has 4 chambers and the brain was all there in two hemispheres!

SO YAY that's our news! Roll on a grand 2009!

Dad's 60th Birthday

Hi
Here's our family Waitangi weekend at Dad's 60th birthday. It was a 1960's party... hence the terrible clothes and bad hair.

Andy and Kara's wedding

HI
thought you might like to see some family pictures from Greg's brothers wedding. They were married at Auckland Anniversary. I was the photographer... totally scary as i had never taken photos of a wedding before.... let alone using Matt and Cris' new camera that i borrowed that week. ARGH. Anyway there are a few good ones.
Here's some pics.

more of Madeline's Christmas holidays

Madeline totally loves music. Her piano playing is more like piano plunking but she likes to sing along to music. She particularly likes to sing the "Roar" part of "Daniel in the lion's den" and she sings "Everywhere" for "He is high on the mountains" oh and has recently learned to say "me" for a couple of songs that have the word "me" in them before the songs have even started into the lyrics... she just recognises the tune from the few opening bars. Pretty hilarious stuff.

Granny and Grandad bought her a black board for Christmas and it has provided hours of fun... but there has been excessive crunching of chalk with her new teeth so I'm not that impressed. It has been removed for too much chalk eating this week but hopefully she'll learn fast.

This is just a little video of our daughter doing some funny dancing at Christmas time. She thought her pants on her head were pretty funny. I thought Tim might appreciate some more action shots seeing as he can't see her regularly.

cool going to post some pics from Andy and Kara's wedding next

New Song

Oh and we have a new song... you know "round and round the garden goes the teddy bear.... one step two step tickle you under there?"
Well now we have

Round and round the wool shed goes the little lamb
One step two steps
into daddy's pan

te he

Have i shared with you 5 little special birds?

WE love watching the birds and feed them on the deck so here's the song we sing

5 little special birds sitting in the tree
5 little special birds won't you come and see
I've put some bread for you
Out on the deck
5 little special birds come and have a peck

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Just checked out all my blogs that i frequently peruse and only Hannah has anything that slightly resembles a new Year update....oh and Carmen but hers is disappointing as although she looks fabulous as a pregnant lady.... she is still a pregnant lady and i was so hoping their two would be three by now!

Anyway...we 3 had so much fun up north so I'll post some pics of our Christmas New Year celebrations. Our baby now says Wet, Walk and Work... as in Mummy has wet hair after a shower, Daddy is at Work and Let's go for a walk! All in the right context but sound very similar to me.

she has started to put two words together and says daddy work and has also started to wake up frequently in the night after 3 weeks of sickness before Christmas and then totally no routine while away. Grrr! SO there is some serious tough love coming even though her mother will probably be just as upset as she is.

We now say "Whee" as we go down the slide, demolish as many strawberries as we're allowed and totally love playing with the hose in the front yard as Pastor Paul noticed the other day as M spotted him across the street and yelled out PAUL and waved furiously! She also did it in church this morning while he was preaching and he either didn't hear or managed to ignore her while her father and mother and uncle Matt all went SHHHH.

Anyway here are some of the photos
