Week 22+4 days

Hi All

We are genuinely sorry for not keeping this as up to date as maybe we should have. But here's our latest news...

Greg has a new job as Service Advisor for the same company he's been with the last few years. Service Advisor looks after the customers, books in their cars, initial diagnostics, makes sure their is enough space in the workshop and liaises with the franchise factory for any warranty related things.

On the baby front...

We had our 20 week anatomy scan on the 1st of May, and everything looks good. They look to make sure all the bones are in the right places and that there are no obvious signs of congenital problems like cleft palates or club foot etc... they also look at the cerebellum and other brain related things and take measurements so on that front everything looks great.

Getting more kicks every day and finding more comfortable positions to sleep in but have still got a fairly sore pelvis and one numb leg (related to my discs in my back). Have just purchased some maternity togs... so aqua walking here i come.
Also bought some quilting fabrics to make turn downs on the tops of some cot sheets- really neat Noah's ark/jungle prints and some softer baby prints too.... so that's one of my many projects on the go.

on the renovation front...
Dan and Susanna kindly offered us a few hours a couple of weekends ago and stripped wall paper in our master bedroom... surprisingly few layer in this room! They are the best wall-paper-strippers you will ever meet so come highly rec commended man they work fast and have such a high standard. Sadly after all their hard work we decided 2 walls needed completely re-gibbing so Matt and Greg ripped out the ceiling and two walls last weekend. Just deciding on light fittings and colour schemes now before the new ceilings get put in.

oh and here's the completed bathroom (except for the floor and windows and electrical stuff ;o)

Greg is planning out a vege patch too... to help with the finances in the next year ;o) so he started ripping up some old gardens that were totally overgrown out the back

and he also took to the big tree stump in the front lawn... innocent bystanders beware! There were chips of wood flying everywhere.

Anyway check out these photos which'll illustrate our wee story... oh and here is the latest bump picture...not that flattering i know!

Thanks to those of you who have posted messages.

love always
S
